Alina Spiridonova

Barcelona-based musician Alina Spiridonova's project focuses on her own compositions, each of them revealing her roots from the Caucasus region and northwestern Russia.

Mixing Caucasian and Russian folklore with jazz harmonies and influences from classical music of impressionism, she seeks to create a personal vision of her homeland. Drawing on folklore, modern jazz and classical music, the artist also takes influences from the Afro-Latin world, flamenco and hip-hop.

Alina released her first album in April 2023 and is currently working on her next one, which is scheduled for release in early 2025.

Each composition is a contrasting journey of emotions and musical styles, in which she is accompanied by her friends and great musicians:

Nicole Rayner (vocals),

Roger Calduch (drums)

Guillem Soler (electric bass).
