Ses Bísties de Mongofre

"Ses Bísties de Mongofre is a Menorcan group formed at the end of 2019 with the aim of making their own songs.

Although they define themselves as Folk, their songs also have touches of Catalan Rumba and more urban styles such as Rap. They are characterized by festive, fresh and cheerful music, which is combined with some more reflective and profound themes.

The lyrics are carefully crafted both in content and form and deal with everyday themes such as friendship, nostalgia, love or fears. Committed to the land and culture, the songs describe all these situations and intimacies without leaving aside a critical perspective on current political and social issues."
